Lou Nash (Lou_Nash@Measutronics.com)

Lou is the President and founder of the Measutronics Corporation and has grown the business from operating out of his pick-up truck to a facility that provides meeting/conference needs, warehousing for equipment and three boats, and office space for bench testing and shipping / receiving. His career in the marine environment began as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy. From there he has held a variety of positions in organizations ranging from surveying and mapping firms to the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office.

Lou’s education in the fields of Geomatics, Coastal Engineering, and Statistics provide fundamental framework for solving today’s challenges in marine construction, guidance, and mapping. From his work experience, he has emerged as a leader in hands on knowledge, his ability to get the job done, and sound business and project management.

John Smith (John_Smith@Measutronics.com)

John’s involvement with Measutronics began with a summer internship in 2007 and he joined the company full time after graduating the University of Florida with a degree in Geomatics. His primary role is designing, testing, and installing (on-site) the systems we sell.

John’s work experience ranges from on managing survey field operations to servicing diesel engines. He is familiar with many types of marine construction, dredging and survey vessels and has fabricated many useful components for each. His excellent mechanical and analytical background provides optimal troubleshooting and problem solving.

Mario Hernandez (Mario_Hernandez@Measutronics.com)

Mario joined Measutronics in 2006 and manages the testing, troubleshooting, repairing, integration, and assembly of hardware and electronics system components. He has prior work experience in welding, automotive engine parts assembly, and building programmable logic control (PLC) interfaces. His customer service background includes handling technical support calls and retail sales.

While working as a Sales Associate for the Fossil Company, Mario attended DeVry University and in 2004 graduated with an Associate’s degree in Electronic Computer Technology. Mario is highly organized, detail oriented, and fluent in English and Spanish which adds to the dynamic relationship Measutronics has with it’s vendors and customers.

Keith Dixon (Keith_Dixon@Measutronics.com)

Keith joined Measutronics in 2009 to take charge of the day to day boat activities involved with operating, managing, and demonstrating the capabilities of the equipment and systems integration that Measutronics provides.  This involves weekly maintenance and system checks to ensure the vessel is always ready and operational for the next project.  While the vessel is deployed, he is the captain and primary safety officer.

He received an Associates Degree in Marine Technology from Cape Fear Community College that allowed him to gain experience in equipment maintenance and repair, metal and woodworking, survey data collection and analysis, and boat operation.  His studies also included classwork and hands-on training for the following: unique safety requirements aboard oceangoing vessels, navigation log, weather watch, gathering bathymetric data, safe boat handling, seamanship under adverse conditions, man overboard rescue, use of charts/navigational aids, oceanography, and marine biology.  Before coming on board with Measutronics, Keith worked as a Hydrographic Survey Technician for ESP Associates, P.A. operating a survey vessel along with a variety of survey equipment and software.

Keith holds a USCG OUPV (6-pack) Captain’s License and is certified in Red Cross First Aid/CPR and SafeGulf.  He has also completed Offshore Water Survival/HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training).

Michael Dix (Michael_Dix@Measutronics.com)

Michael began as a summer intern for the Measutronics Corporation in the summer of 2009.  In 2010 he received a degree in Geomatics  from the University of Florida.

Michael’s work experience began as a Customer Relations Manager for a residential construction company. During his time there, he conducted technical orientations, scheduled and managed contractors, performed quality assurance inspections, and facilitated warranty issues. From there he began working on a field crew for a land surveyor involved with topographical, construction, as-built, and physical location surveys. His ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment and vision for business management internally as well as to customers and vendors help Measutronics to provide unmatched service.

Cheston VanAlstyne (Cheston_VanAlstyne@Measutronics.com)

Cheston joined Measutronics in 2010 and has a background in technical service and integration.   Working out of our Florida office, he provides valuable logistical and technical support for our day-to-day operations.
